Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I believe those called in Christ are called to do shocking things in the eyes of the world. Who am I to conclude that certain people have no hope of eternal life in Christ? If I'm thinking such thoughts, who am I to think such thoughts? I was called to simply DO, not to overlay my worldly knowledge on what I think is logical or illogical in the spiritual realm. Do I really believe your words of truth when you said ALL things are possible through Christ? It's a daily test, a constant challenge, no doubt we are called to push the envelope between the impossible and possible, so to take the path of least resistance is never the best path to take. "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." (1 John 2:15-17) Shocking "to the world" words to live by, but yet they are the keys to the kingdom as Jesus taught us to live by over and over again… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
