This is serious business...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Keeping our minds and bodies whipped into shape to our own satisfaction, is truly a lifelong journey. Even saying this, puts the difficulty of such a task in its proper perspective. For others have expectations of us as well, all of which are stacked on top of our own critique, which is totally unfair, but it's the reality of the day; we are constantly measuring and comparing ourselves to one another. Ultimately, at the end of the day, it's up to the individual to decide who you intended for each of us to become and then to follow through with all of our commitments to achieve such goals. Are we called to be truly in Christ, or are we pretenders in Christ by simply seeking our own agenda at the dawn of each and every new day? These are life and death questions. Before answering, we all need to sit down and hear your words of truth; "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭5‬) THIS is serious business, for in seeking Him we are seeking life everlasting, not because of what WE have accomplished but what HE has accomplished on our behalf...Jesus is the TRUE light… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
