The good news...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's easy to talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news as we translate, but to put that gospel into action day in / day out is a monumental struggle. Why is this? Could it be that it requires us to step down from our soapboxes of self-promotion and prideful positions? For sure, but we should know, and rest assured, that the gospel is far more powerful than any aspects of power we could possibly achieve in this life. Paul came to this realization when he wrote in the spirit, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, 'The righteous shall live by faith.'" (Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭17‬) Why is the gospel such good news? Simply put, we were once lost but now we have been found, saved by the blood of Christ; the best news we could possibly hear any moment of any day in our lifetime… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
