A harvest of righteousness...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... The good things accomplished in this life don't necessarily have to be in total conflict with the heavenly things of the future. But unfortunately, all too often we confuse this life as the end all, as the reason for living, but truth be told, this life is only a parable for the next. Either our actions are unfaithful examples of our self-centered nature, or they're examples of the good for the betterment of mankind. "If you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." (James 3:14-18) Jesus leads us to doing good in this life, may we all choose the righteous path… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
