Our calling in Christ...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's not easy being fully confident of our very next step, then another, then another. The further we progress from our baseline the further we are from our zone of comfort; to the point of stumbling and falling when the pressure of this life becomes too great of a burden to bear. But our calling in Christ is pure and true; we are to be confident in Him, not anxious about anything; "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6) Turning everything over to you, O Lord, this is our calling in Christ, this is our confidence your bless us with to take the next step, then another, then another; until we're running full speed into your loving embrace… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
