What a wonderful world it would be...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Isn't it just like us, Lord, to blame others for our anger, frustration, fear, and especially our insecurities? If only THEY would have done this, or THEY would not have done that. Somehow, we've turned the tables on taking ownership of OUR own actions in order to feel peace and security at the expense of others. But the Scriptures teach us that power is not in the manipulation of others, but rather, just the opposite, true power is discovered when we have the self-control to focus on ourselves, and in doing so, learning how to manage situations and circumstances in good times and bad. When we grow the inner spirit you have blessed each of us with, we experience the very nature and Spirit of Christ; For "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23) What a wonderful world it would be if we all exhibited such attributes of the Spirit on a daily basis, just as Jesus did with each and every step of His journey in this life… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
