We are nothing without Jesus…

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, what a beautiful plan you've set in motion; you are our father, and Jesus is your son. What does that mean for the mere mortals on planet Earth? It means that you have created the entire world and universe and we are to submit to you, but at the same time you've given us your son Jesus who came into this world and lived as we have lived but He was without sin, so that when He sacrificed His life He became our Lord and Savior forevermore. Jesus became the perfect sacrifice on that cross some 2000 years ago, and then on the third day was raised to be with you forever interceding for us, your people. "The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:9-13) May we understand our position in the scheme of the universe, and submit this very day to your will in our lives through Jesus, your son. Without Him, we are nothing, but with Him, we have become your children… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
