Life can be an emotional rollercoaster...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... If we let it, life can be an emotional rollercoaster, up and down and all-around until we don't know which way is up, and for sure, not even having any idea what's coming next. We've all been there done that, struggling to find the right words at just the right time only to be steamrolled by our emotions. As a Christian, my goal to be Christlike in all things I say and do. No doubt, Jesus controlled His emotions in a way like none other; He was kind and compassionate but firm with His convictions to do your will in His life. I'm reminded of His words to the stormy sea as His disciples were on that emotional rollercoaster thinking they were surely going to perish in their storm-tossed boat; "Jesus awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." (Mark 4:39) Peace, be still; I want that peace that surpasses all understanding, the kind of peace that puts its COMPLETE faith and trust in you, O Lord… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
