Oblivious to the obvious...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Some things are as easy to distinguish as sensing darkness at night from the light of day, but then again, when we want to get something to go our way, even the obvious can be oblivious to our willingness to tell right from wrong. You love us Lord with a love than cannot be mistaken for anything but the pure entity it truly is. But what do we do? We ignore you, we take you for granted, or we simply think we're not good enough to be loved by the creator of the universe. Then we see Jesus on the cross in our purer moments of reflection, knowing how wrong we were to think you didn't care enough to hold us tight in your loving arms! "Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth (Jesus), that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures." (James 1:16-18)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
