No time for mediocracy...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... If athletes and entertainers could care less about what they're doing, then guess who could care less than less about watching them choosing to be mediocre? I absolutely detest mediocre efforts, it's really that simple to explain my position on this topic. This holds true for anything I'm spending my time and effort and money on, so why should I expect others to care about me if I'm not willing to be ALL IN? Bottom line is that all people everywhere love those who are committed enough to do what they are appointed to do. Jesus was with you, O Lord, in the very beginning of time, so was it difficult for Him to come to earth as a man, and ultimately to sacrifice His life so that we might live? Absolutely! We love shortcuts, but Jesus DID NOT take shortcuts, not even close; "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him." (1 Peter 3:18-22) Jesus cared enough to sacrifice His life so that we might live; indeed, the very definition of being ALL IN without one iota of mediocracy in His bones… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
