Doing the right thing...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's often been stated when trying to determine where others stand relative to taking a position, "You are either part of the problem or part of the solution." As with most things in this life, everything we do or don't do depends on our prospective on the matter at hand. Am I all in or am I the "wait until I know who's going to win then I'll take a stand" type of person. For anyone who has ever taken a stand for Jesus Christ knows this world needs more people willing to put their faith on the line, which translates into a willingness to be criticized, scrutinized, and quite honestly, ostracized for their positions that are in direct conflict with this world and its worldly ways. The solution to sin is quite simply, Jesus Christ and Him crucified! So I have to ask, am I part of the solution (all in with Jesus), or part of the problem (willing to take my chances outside of His saving grace). In Matthew 7:24-27 Jesus provides us insight into doing the right thing, "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it." …Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
