Dedicated to the cause of Jesus...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... As a young boy, one of my memory aids from Bible class to remember those who didn't believe in the resurrection, those like the Sadducees of Jesus day, was to refer to them as "sad-you-see" for they had no hope of life beyond this life; a very VERY sad state of affairs. The hope of eternal life is a grand thing, but at the end of the day it's simply a beautiful byproduct of a life well-lived, a life dedicated to the cause of Jesus Christ, the very one who died so that we might live. Being made sin free, perfect in your eyes, is something we couldn't accomplish in a million lifetimes, let alone in one lifetime. So, it's only right that we can't work our way to heaven, otherwise we'd do just the bare minimum as we checked the minimal number of right boxes, rather, we are saved by your free gift of grace; "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:8-10)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
