A Christ-filled life...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... There are temptations too numerous to count when it comes to things that pull us away from the saving blood of Jesus Christ, not the least of which is our lack of faith in believing that Jesus is who He said He was, and that He sacrificed His life so that we might live. The only thing I can figure is that it's just too big of a pill for the self-seeking / self-centered / "I'm not that gullible" crowd to swallow. But without question, one thing I've observed in my years of living a faith-filled life is that those without faith are the first ones to brag about their lives and lifestyles, while those with faith are simply thankful and grateful that they are counted amongst those chosen to live forevermore even though they know they don't deserve such a blessing. Some join in with Jesus, MOST simply choose to mock; "Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked. But others said, 'We will hear you again about this.' So Paul went out from their midst. But some men joined him and believed, among whom also were Dionysius the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them." (Acts 17:32-34) May each of us be faithful to the point of being baptized into His death, burial, and resurrection, and in doing so, starting on a journey in this life that will last billions and billions of years! I've witness those blessings in my life and I'm so ready for those blessings to continue to unfold before my very eyes. The easiest testimony EVER is this, a Christ-filled life is a life worth living… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
