Where your treasure is...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's a common misconception in this life, thinking that great wealth translates to great health, but nothing could be further from the truth. For chasing after stuff in this world is like a dog chasing its own tail, thinking it's going to catch it, but never quite catching up to it. Our true wealth lies not in our earthly possessions but in our treasures in heaven, and Jesus was perfectly clear in this teaching when He said, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
