Every day is a unique struggle…

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Are we looking for foundations in our lives designed to survive the test of time? We don't go into relationships thinking they're going to fail, nor do we seek positions of employment thinking they won't last. We all want stability, and peace of mind, knowing we can "be all we can be" no matter the situation or circumstance. To this end, should we leave it all on the line every single moment of every single day? Lord, you know, I know the answer to that question, but putting it into practice is a whole different level when compared to just words. I know, I know, what do I have to lose? But I love life, and I love my way of life, so to put it into danger just isn't the natural/world-wise best course of action to take. So every day is a unique struggle, and I suppose, it's as you've designed it to be. Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Bottom line here; either I trust myself or I put my trust in Jesus. Relationships, wants, and aspirations on earth are destined to fail, spiritual treasure, in Christ, will last forever… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
