Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... When it comes to your creation I often wonder what you love most. We might think it's our very own perceived "flawless" faith or our "impeccable" servanthood. But then again could it be we are just a little overconfident with our self-proclaimed spiritual abilities? At the end of the day, I can't help but think that you just want us to be a repentant people, a people who depend solely on your ability to forgive our sins through the blood of your son Jesus. Jesus said to the rich young man, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” He said to him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” The young man said to him, “All these I have kept. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." (Matthew 19:17-21) It all boils down to this; am I willing to follow Jesus every moment of every day… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things! you love most...
