What a wonderful world this would be...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Peace and love can never be forced upon anyone, but oh how we'd love to have this superpower. If only we could make people see the light of Jesus Christ in their lives; what a wonderful world this would be. But then again, we're basically describing heaven when we imagine such a world where love and peace and joy rule the day. Our challenge on earth is to LIVE the words of Paul to the church and Christians at Colosse when he wrote; "Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father." (Colossians 3:14-17) THIS is the "secret sauce" of encouraging others to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, by actively demonstrating His love and His peace in a thankful and grateful way, LEADING others to Him by our example of humble submission to the will of Christ Jesus in our everyday lives… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
