What a beautiful day...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I'm convinced that too much of our lives we spend trying to gain control of situations we'll never be able to control, all the while ignoring those things wherein we have 100% control. When I get up in the morning, I can choose my demeanor, my attitude, my outlook on life every single morning. But what do I do? I dread getting up cause I'd rather be sleeping; I'd rather do this or that; if I could just turn that switch and say, "What a beautiful day to serve the Lord!" It's not enough to feel something, we have to take those feelings and turn them into action! "Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." ( Colossians 3:17) Through Jesus, THIS is whom I desire and need to be… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
