There's nothing like family...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... There's nothing like family in this life. No, it's never perfect and we all know that, but for sure it's all about a common bond, a shared identity. Maybe I can't stand something about one of my family members, but for those outside my family, don't ever cross that family member in my presence or there'll be a price to pay. It's a commonly shared feeling that blood is thicker than water, and who has better demonstrated that than Jesus Christ himself who enables us to be truly part of your family, O Lord. "But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13) Jesus, through His birth, death, and resurrection, taught us what being a true brother really means. To bear one another's burdens, to support each other through thick and thin, good times and bad. It was never about who He was, even thought He was and is King of kings and Lord of lords, but rather that it's about humility and servanthood no matter how bad things may seem to be in this life… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
