Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Dysfunctional is a strong word when it comes to describing family, but in our world I feel that all of our families have at least some aspect of this tendency, a bit dysfunctional in one way or another. But all that means is that we acknowledge that the human experience is difficult even in the best of times; yes, we all fall into the trap of a sinful life, and that until we submit to your will, O Lord, we will continue to struggle mightily in this life! For your promise of protecting us and providing a way out of our sinful selves rings loud and true; "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13) Thank you, Lord, for providing a way out through the blood of Jesus, a way leading to life… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
