The perfect group of Christians...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... We've all seen them, and maybe we've even been one of them; "church shoppers" looking for just the right church. They show up, look around, see the right things, do the right things, but all the while they are looking to check their check boxes. All well and good, until something goes awry, that one check box that just can't be checked, and off they go on down the road looking for another perfect group of Christians, which, by the way, does not exist anywhere in this world! No doubt, it's frustrating to everyone involved, both the church shoppers, and the church goers being evaluated. Wouldn't it be great if we could just all have the mind of Christ, to not look to see what the church can do for us, but what we can do for the church, the very Bride of Christ. "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy... and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle..." (Ephesians 5:25-27) … Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
