The last to be first...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... How difficult is it to be saved, to be blessed with eternal life? So difficult that it's impossible for ALL of mankind to achieve in and of themselves! What a sad state of affairs, to think that this life is the end-all to life as we know it, a life wherein all we have to look forward to as life marches on is our end of life and its inevitable end. But, for a few, there's a better way, a way leading to life everlasting as Jesus proclaimed when He said, "Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first." (Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭29‬-‭31‬) I know one thing's for certain, I want to be the last to be first… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
