The crowd wondered...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Magic at its best, to be truly magical, has to be spontaneous; it has to be something that just happens. No, I'm not talking about the "slight of hand" type of magic we often imagine, but rather the type that is truly miraculous. Something that couldn't possibly be explained in a million years of trying to rationalize how a mere mortal might be able to trick the masses. "Jesus went on from there and walked beside the Sea of Galilee. And he went up on the mountain and sat down there. And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them, so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel." (Matthew 15:29-31) Talk about an understatement, "the crowd wondered." I'm thinking there was no way to put their wonder and amazement into words, no way to explain something they knew to be fact; the miracles, like magic, amazed all who witnessed them, and even some 2,000 years later they STILL speak to Jesus being able to do ANYTHING and EVERTHING relative to our salvation… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
