A beautiful change of season...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... What a refreshing thing it is to experience the change of seasons. In the Fall, a time to slow down, a time to take in the refreshingly cool air, and yet the remnants of Summer return later in the day. Times of transition are so important for us as human beings; times that snap us out of our doldrums of repetitious monotony and into times of contemplating the wonders of a new season. Jesus, on so many levels, was a breath of fresh air, a change of seasons for all of humanity.  He came at just the right moment in time to a world desperate for change, and in doing so, showing us a better way, a way leading to life; "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it...And Peter said to them, 'Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.'" (Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭22‬-‭24‬, ‭38‬-‭39‬)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
