The building blocks of a life well lived...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Integrity and mercy and generosity, these are the building blocks of a life well lived, a life of honor worthy of our calling in Christ. For when the world seems unjust and greedy, like Jesus, we can respond by acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with you, O Lord. Will it be easy, no way; but will it be a life without regrets? Absolutely! Micah 6:8 nailed it; "What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." It's just too easy for us to blame the world for our problems; news beating us down every night, that person at work grinding on us every single day, everything just not seeming to go our way. What are we to do? How bout leading with generosity, and looking for ways to bless those all around us, just like Jesus taught us by example to do… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
