Tested by fire...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Erma Bombeck wrote the book entitled, "The Grass Is Always Greener over the Septic Tank." Comical title for sure but oh so true when it comes to being tested by fire. If we were never tested, how could we possibly be motivated enough to achieve great things arising from such adversity? The easy answer is that we wouldn't be; for to be all we can be, we MUST be pushed beyond our zone of comfort. Nobody likes to fail, in fact, it's arguably one of THE greatest motivators in life, and yes, success breeds success, but until we know how to win, that is, figuring out how NOT to lose, we will never know how to get from Point A to Point B, from a losing mentality to a winning culture. "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win." (1 Corinthians 9:24) Would you ever expect anything less than our best? No way! May we be all we can be in Jesus forever more… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
