Taking time to look in the mirror...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... We make countless decisions every day, all taking time and effort, all based on our life's experiences and knowledge, our wisdom. At the beginning of each new day the kingdom would always be better served if we simply took the time to look in the mirror, choosing to be resolute in our fervor to make a positive difference in this world one Christlike deed at a time! True followers of Jesus Christ aren't looking for accolades, quite the opposite, they're simply meeting the needs of others. Jesus said, "When you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your heavenly Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (Matthew 6:3-4) It's a wonderful blessing to know when you've chosen to walk in the footsteps of Jesus… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
