Stand firm in the faith...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I truly fear that our society is losing touch with the meaning of what it means for a man to step up and be a man. Many would accuse me of being disrespectful for saying such things, but the Bible teaches otherwise, so, so do I. Paul's challenge to the men at Corinth, "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." (1 Corinthians 16:13-14) Even 2,000 years ago, men needed to be reminded of what it meant to be a man; no, it's not easy to step up, and through Christ Jesus with love, to do what needs to be done; never has been, never will be, but always it's the right path from this life to the next… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
