Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Spoiler alert for those you created; life is complicated even in its better days. Even in our more spiritual moments when seeking your peace which surpasses all understanding, do we really comprehend what that kind of peace truly represents? Yes, the world wants peace, not war, and anything but pain and heartache, and certainly there's an extreme desire to minimize the chaos that so often dominates our lives. Fore sure, the spiritual peace to which your word refers is the inner peace of knowing that those baptized into the blood of Jesus Christ, those forgiven on a daily basis, have a promise of eternal life, which is the ultimate peace, both now and forevermore. This peace literally takes over the countenance of the faithful even as they are suffering beyond measure. One of the keys to a life full of blessings; "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
