Something for nothing; not gonna happen...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's it's a proven fact in this life, Satan encourages me to do nothing and to simply not care about anything of importance relative to my body or my soul. How do I know this? Concerning my body, if I don't care what I eat and drink and if I'm not diligent about conditioning my body, my body begins to rapidly waste away. On the spiritual side, if I lack faith and don't prayerfully care enough to be diligent about studying your will for my life, then my soul begins to rapidly sink into the depths of despair in this sinful worldly existence. Funny how that works, we thinking we can get something for nothing, but that ain't happening in the real world! "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind." (James 1:2-6) It's not hard, seriously, when we commit to the right path, you bless us beyond measure… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
