Slaying dragons...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... We all have dragons in our lives, beasts luring us into the dark side of sin. But strangely (until we fully understand their purpose) they are deceptively disguised as innocent angels in white, tempting us into thinking we need to succumb to those temptations in order to live life to its fullest. For "Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds." (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) We all know evil when we see it, when we listen to what they say, and conversely, we know good when we see it and good when we hear it. For there's a measure of right and wrong that cannot be denied. God is good and those preaching the good news of Jesus Christ and Him crucified are simply doing the right thing, the GOOD thing. May we all choose the right path, the good path, the path leading us from the evil in this life to the good in the next… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
