Rockstar status...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Without question, complacency is THE archenemy of the cross. It's not that we don't know about you, O Lord, or that we're not aware of Jesus Christ and His place in the scheme of eternity, far from it; for in America, we hear it, we see it, and we feel it every single day of our lives. It cannot be denied, even in the world of those who question the basis of His existence, the name of Jesus Christ is a name that still has rockstar status!  But there's a huge difference from knowing about Jesus to dedicating one's life to Him for Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21) Yes, it's much easier to talk the talk than to walk the walk, but we MUST know that this is our calling in Him… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
