Not perfect, not even close...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... We are not a perfect people, in fact, at the end of the day we are simply a sinful people, even though there are those who appear to be good. But even Jesus said, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone." (Mark 10:18) Absolutely, we fall far short of your glory, O Lord, with every new day bringing more and more sin to our side of the ledger. But here's the amazing part of our "in-Christ" experience, because Jesus chose to give His life so that I might live, to sacrifice His blood so that my sins would covered / paid for / forever forgiven, you don't even see my sins. For Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, spoke these words of life and truth, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." (Matthew 26:28) Transforming words? Indeed, life-altering words of spirit and truth… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
