Peace, be still...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, thank you for reminding me on a daily basis of what I need to know in order to maximize the goodness you bring to this life on a daily basis; for you've reminded me to "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10) In a world that's constantly on the move, pounding on us to keep up by speeding up; the big city hustle and bustle comes to mind, a place where in a "New York minute" contains the marching orders of the day. To pull back, to imagine a life in Christ, to slow down long enough to focus on Him is ALWAYS the best practice, but unfortunately, a practice which the world and the worldly twist us into believing is a waste of time. In no way, shape, or form is it EVER a bad idea to not focus on Jesus, for He is our rock, our salvation… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
