Love covers a multitude of sins...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Everyone I've ever known has sought excellence in their relationships, in fact, it seems to be an innate quality of mankind. But just because we seek doesn't necessarily mean we achieve such excellence; quite the opposite, for more often than not we miserably fail one another. For we think of excellence as being peaceful and supportive and and encouraging and loving, the "idyllic" relationships we dream of but rarely achieve. The truth of the matter is that to achieve this result we must always be willing to suck it up during the trying times, the difficult times, the seemingly impossible times. Times of selfishness, envy, angry outbursts, and disappointment; for when we make it to the other side of these monumental struggles, it is then we begin to know just how powerful a forgiving and loving relationship can be, should be, and WILL BE when we approach them with Christlike fervor and commitment. Peter laid it on the line in 1 Peter 4:8 when he instructed, "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." May we all be more Christlike and intentional with our love and faith toward one another, and in doing so, building and multiplying Christlike relationships built to last an eternity of tomorrows… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
