Love conquers all...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... The truth hurts when we don't want to hear the truth; especially when the truth convicts us of our wrongdoings. “So the Jews said to Him, 'You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?' Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.' So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.” (John‬ ‭8‬:‭57‬-‭59) They knew the scriptures up one side and down the other relative to the Messiah coming down from heaven, but NOT like Jesus. No way, He was in no way the conquering warrior they expected, but then again, they lost sight of the meaning behind the meaning of the Law of Moses. "'Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?' And Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.'" (Matthew 22:36-40) Love is the great differentiator, love conquers all… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
