Lord, come quickly...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's a sharp knife of a short life as The Band Perry so aptly sang relative to a life cut far too short. Charlie Kirk, your servant, was shot down in cold blood today, and that hurts big-time to those of us who respect beyond words those willing to stand up for the truth of Jesus Christ, those like Charlie Kirk. Yes, it convicts me to do more, to love more, to stand up to the deception and evil in this life as propagated by the source of ALL evil; none other than Satan himself, the father of all lies; lies which directly fed the greed and evil leading to today's senseless and evil-inspired cowardly act of violence. Yes, someone actually believed they were doing the right thing today by murdering an innocent man, a Godly man. May you be with Charlie Kirk's family, his wife and two children, ages 1 and 3. Yes, it hurts to come to the realization that there are far too many sin-sick souls in this life, but the truth cannot be ignored any longer. "Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8) We shall all bow down some day, acknowledging that you have destroyed the works of the devil; Lord, come quickly… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
