Life-changing possibilities...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, your servant Peter has influenced millions of people over the past 2000 years. When Jesus first met Peter he was a simple fisherman from a simple town, fishing on a simple lake, in a simple country. But that all changed once Peter understood the magnitude and extreme significance of the plan Jesus had for him. Jesus said to Peter, "Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. And Simon answered, 'Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.' And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking. They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, 'Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.' ...But Jesus said, 'Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.' And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him." (Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬-‭8‬, ‭10‬-‭11‬) ‬‬ I have to say to myself, am I willing to leave everything to follow in the footsteps of Jesus just as Peter did that one fateful day so many years ago? It's a life-changing proposition with life changing possibilities… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
