Let the scriptures speak to us...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... This is a warning to all of us, when we start extrapolating on what the scriptures actually say in order to use them to prove what we believe to be right, this is the beginning point on the pathway leading us away from Jesus Christ! So many people, self-included when I fall into the trap, read scripture and then like to tell others what it DOESN'T say instead of simply letting said scripture speak to us, guide us, inspire us to do what it says to do. What's our justification for doing so? Let the scriptures speak, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17) Equipped for every good work, THIS is the pathway leading to life, the very path Jesus walks with us every day of our faithful lives… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
