Improving daily...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... People are funny, they think you're naturally good at something, or that you totally fail because it's just the way it is. Nothing could be further from the truth; we are "good" at things because we are dedicated to the task at hand, getting better and better because we put in the time. Likewise, if we think we can just show up and dominate, then we've got another thought coming! The Bereans studied the scriptures daily, then applied what they learned,  "Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek women of high standing as well as men." (Acts 17:11-12) When we dedicate our lives to being more spiritual every day, studying the scriptures, following your words of truth, you bless us beyond measure… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
