Humble in the sight of the Lord...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... The energy level of the young is off-the-charts; running and jumping with non-stop movement. Yes, it wears out any of the older-than-young, those just trying to "keep up!" But it's this type of energy that gives us all hope for a brighter future, one where the young are encouraged to lead the next generation. But it's all for naught if the young are not willing to be humble in the sight of the Lord. Jesus said, "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves." (Luke 22:25-26) It's a fact not to be minimized, we love serving those willing to serve, just as Jesus taught us to do… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
