His kingdom, not our kingdom...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... This life, this world, the worldly, teach us to be confident in ourselves, to trust that nobody knows better than self; to boldly go where no man or woman has gone before. If that statement, relative to our spiritual lives, wasn't so sad, it would almost be comical in nature. For no matter how much we try to fool ourselves into thinking we are "all of that," at the end of the day, we FAIL over and over when we go-it-alone in this life. We need each other to bounce ideas off of each other, to contemplate the best paths to pursue, and MOST of all, we need Jesus in our lives covering our sins with His blood the very moment we fall flat on our faces in utter defeat. Paul in writing to the church at Phillipi said, "Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own." (‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12) ‬‬What we accomplish in this life is not credited to self, but rather, to Christ working IN US to achieve great things on behalf of HIS kingdom, not our kingdom… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
