He must increase, but I must decrease...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Our name tells the story of who we are and just what makes us unique in our own lifetime. It quite literally defines our destiny, for as each day clicks by we determine what that name, our name, represents. Either we're standing up for Jesus or we're living for self, and our own selfish wants and desires. Either way, we need to be forewarned lest we become conceited in our own accomplishments for we are humbled by the fact that we will not be remembered even but one, maybe two generations down the road. Our purpose in life becomes crystal clear when coming to such a realization; we are here to magnify the glory and power of Jesus Christ and Him alone! As John the Baptist so aptly put it into perspective when he said; "A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven. You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him.’ The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease." (John 3:27-30)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
