Grace, a gift from above...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's a fact, the gift of grace could not and would not exist in this world apart from you making it a reality in our lives, O Lord. For apart from Jesus Christ, the very one who has enabled us to be valuable in your sight, we would literally have NOTHING of eternal value in our possessions. Something for nothing (e.g., grace) arguably, cannot exist because we're not good enough to grant it on a sustained basis; oh we sneak up on it on our better days, but unfortunately, we the people fully comprehend and apply the concept of "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours." This is how it works with the world and the worldly, of which we, those in Christ, are doing our very best to separate from! Hebrews 4:16 nailed it on the head; "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." And we are in need this very moment of this very day… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
