God tempts no one...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... When it comes to sin in our lives, we can all find ourselves like the frog gleefully bathing in a pan of cold water placed on the burner. We sit there enjoying life as the heat is slowly cranked up, but eventually we die in the boiling water; all the while thinking, this feels so good! Sin is like this, starting out feeling good, but in the end, it is slowly killing us with each passing day spent outside of your saving grace. "Let no one say when he is tempted, 'I am being tempted by God,' for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death." (James 1:13-15) May we all know the evil nature of sin and its deathly consequences BEFORE it's too late… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
