For all of the right reasons...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... To use a double negative for emphasis, as Christians, we're not going to accept "not doing it right" for all of the wrong reasons! Will it lead to persecution? I'll let Jesus answer that; "Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you...You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬-‭12‬, ‭14‬) ‬‬ Father, if you've taught us one thing, it's that this life is only a test for the next life; if we're suffering here for all of the right reasons, then it is worth whatever cost we must pay for the glory of the kingdom of Jesus Christ! Jesus was willing to be persecuted and ultimately died for us which should always spur us on to good works at any and all costs… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
