Faith that you will lead us to the Lord...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, your scriptures testify to how you use us in ways we could never see or recognize or even imagine, but in ways that give our lives meaning and purpose for generations to come. Take your servant Ruth, a Moabite, an outcast in the eyes of the Israelites, but yet you had a plan for her, a plan for her to be the great grandmother of King David, and ultimately in the lineage of Jesus Christ, your son! You have a way of taking the lowest of low and turning them into the highest of high, all for your glory by those willing to humble themselves in the sight of the Lord. In the now, infamous, faithful words of Ruth to her mother-in-law Naomi, "Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God." (‭‭Ruth‬ ‭1‬:‭16) I pray for a fraction of the faith of Ruth; faith in you, faith for her future, and faith in the future of your kingdom in Jesus Christ… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
