Doing the will of the Father...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's kind of funny, but sad as well, that we seem to need an explanation for everything, a logical conclusion to all things including the spiritual side of life. But therein lies the problem; in human understanding the Spirit cannot be logically derived. Jesus was speaking of spiritual things when He said, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." (John 6:35-40) The bottom line is that our salvation is based on a faith that cannot be determined by our physical senses, but rather can be proven by actions, not the least of which by what Jesus did for us on the cross… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
