Doing the right thing...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's a much contemplated concept for those who study your words of truth as discovered in the New Testament. What does it truly mean to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, for to do so is to seal our fate forever? Could it be that we're contemplating such thoughts when we don't put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and don't commit to being baptized into His blood for the forgiveness of our sins, and thinking we can go it alone here in this life and don't need you in any way shape or form? If we die in our sins, I fear that we have committed the ultimate blasphemy, for we have put ourselves equal to you in stature, claiming we don't need you because we are gods in and of ourselves. "This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:11-12) Should we live for Jesus rather than living for ourselves? Doing the right thing, it's a no-brainer unless we let our brains get in the way of doing the right thing… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
