Divine dust...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... O how difficult it is to share. We have our stuff because we have worked hard for our stuff, or so we think. One of the hardest hurdles for us to overcome in this life is translating our physical lives into spiritual lives, that is, coming to the realization that we have nothing that has not been given to us by you, O Lord. For every single thing we do to achieve in this life is granted from above, NOTHING is from our own perceived greatness. In fact, in the end, we are nothing but the dust of the earth; "By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return." (Genesis 3:19) There we have it, you telling us the truth of who we really are; we, at best, are servants to the very end, just as Jesus taught us to be; "Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:38)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
